Clear notice of which permits your project needs, and who pulls them.

Your ten-day right to cancel. If you sign a contract with us somewhere other than our place of business — at your kitchen table, which is where most renovation contracts get signed — it is a direct sales contract under BC's Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act. You may cancel it for any reason within ten days of receiving your copy, and any money paid is returned within fifteen days. That right is written into our contract. It is yours whether or not a contractor mentions it.
